Minnie Pearl bronze statue makes historic appearance at the Commodore Hotel in Linden TN

A Very Special Guest Indeed!
The Minnie Pearl Bronze Statue, a work of art by Artist /Sculptor Bill Rains, is on temporary display in the lobby of the Commodore Hotel, Linden, while construction is going on in her hometown in Centerville. We plan on taking good care of her and judging by the steady stream of visitors who have stopped by she has certainly brought a lot of smiles to many faces. Many locals have stories of Minnie Pearl, including one gentleman who said she was his teacher in school. We think she would have enjoyed our vintage hotel and hospitality. The beauty of the artwork has been admired by all and we look forward to being her temporary caretaker until she checks out and goes back to her hometown. We are proud to have her!
