Historic Commodore Hotel Celebrates 15th Anniversary of Restoration
Don’t Miss the Sept. 9-11 Events, Block Party and Harvest Moon Festivities
Linden, TN –The Commodore Hotel in Linden, Tennessee is celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the hotel’s renovation and re-opening with a weekend of festivities Sept. 9-11, 2022. A momentous block party and harvest moon event is planned for Sept. 10, to include live music, demonstrating artists, LED light show, great food and more. Guided kayaking trips on the scenic Buffalo River will be offered throughout the weekend.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating these 15 years of serving the travelers who choose the Commodore as their home away from home,” said Michael Dumont, proprietor along with wife Kathy. “This property had fallen into serious disrepair, vacant and languishing for more than 20 years. Restoring it to one of Tennessee’s great boutique hotels is one of the most rewarding projects Kathy and I have taken on. Here’s to 15 years and to the future of the Commodore Hotel.”
The high point of the celebration begins with guided kayaking tours of the Buffalo River from
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. CDT, Sept. 10, followed by happy hour from 4 – 6 p.m. and the momentous block party 6-9 p.m. CDT, Sept. 10. Excitedly, the 15th Anniversary weekend falls during the harvest moon, enhancing the celebration to include fall festivities, crafts, fall seasonal cuisine, music and dancing - all bathed in the bright moon of the autumnal equinox.
Named “One of Six Great Places to Stay in Tennessee,” the 19-room boutique hotel has been sold-out every weekend this summer, and encourages early bookings for this special 15th Anniversary weekend.
